REDDENS LAUDES DOMINO
(Lo, behold the head I bring
Giving praise to God we sing)


The boar’s head in hand bryng I,
With garlands gay and rosemary
And I pray you all sing merrily,
Qui estis in convivio (Ye who are now at the feast)

The boar’s head as I understand
Is the chief servyce in this land
Look whereever it be fand
Servite cum cantico (Let us serve it with a song)

Our steward hath provided this
In honour of the King of Bliss
Which on this day to be served is
