We three kings of Orient are,
Bearing gifts, we traverse afar-
Field and fountain, moor and mountain,
Following yonder star-

STAR OF WONDER, STAR OF NIGHT-
STAR WITH ROYAL BEAUTY BRIGHT-
WESTWARD LEADING, STILL PROCEEDING-
GUIDE US TO THY PERFECT LIGHT-

Born a king, on Bethlehem plain
Gold I bring, to crown him again-
King forever, ceasing never,
Over Mankind to reign-

Frankincense to offer have I,
Incense owns a Deity nigh-
Prayer and praising, Mankind raising,
Worship him God on high-

Myrrh is mine, it’s bitter perfume,
Breathes a life of gathering gloom-
Sorrowing, sighing, bleeding , dying,
Sealed in a stone cold tomb-

Glorious now, behold him arise!
King and God and sacrifice!
Heaven sings, “Hallelujah!”
“Hallelujah!” the Earth replies!
